Warm Up With Winter Cocktails
DateJanuary 20, 2017
You know the story – the weather outside may be frightful, but the fire is so delightful… and made even better when you have a winter cocktail to warm you up. Make the most of the cold and embrace the season with these cocktails that are perfect for winter.
1. Tuaca® Hot Apple Pie Cocktail
Vanilla flavored Tuaca is perfectly complimented by apple cider for a warming treat.
1 1/2 oz. Tuaca® Liqueur
6 oz. Apple Cider
1 Cinnamon Stick
Warm up the cider in a mug, then add 1 1/2 oz of Tuaca to cider and stir. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
2. Apple Rosemary Rickey
Crisp and refreshing, this combination of citrus, herbs and apple is fantastic through fall, winter, and even into spring.
2 oz. Orange Liqueur
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
3-4 oz. Club Soda
3 Slices of Tart Apple (such as Granny Smith)
7 Rosemary Leaves
Using a muddler, smash the apple slices and rosemary leaves in the bottom of a highball glass. Add orange liqueur and fresh lime juice, then fill the glass to the brim with ice and top with club soda. Stir briefly to combine.
